Registration NOW OPEN for 2023
Sunset Youth Girls Basketball registration NOW OPEN! Tryouts will begin on November 1st! The Sunset Youth Girls basketball program is designed to offer a competitive basketball experience for 5th-8th graders who are planning to attend Sunset High School, and are interested in potentially playing high school basketball down the line. We will hold tryouts to select a team at the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels.
TRYOUT INFORMATION
LOCATION: Sunset High School:
DATES: WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 1st and THURSDAY 2nd
TIME: 4:30pm-6pm
Tryouts will be overseen by Varsity Girls Basketball Coach Devarieous Sly-Clay (Coach D) and members of the high school and middle school coaching staffs.
There is no payment needed until after the teams are selected. If your athlete makes a team the cost will be $500, plus the cost of the shooting shirt.

It's that time of year again. We are excited to present 2024-25 Incoming 3rd through 8th graders with the opportunity to participate in our 2024 Sunset Girls Youth Basketball Camp. Students must be living in the Sunset High School district boundary.

Hosted by: This camp is organized and led by the varsity girls coaching staff at Sunset High School. They are also assisted by some of the current student athletes in the program. It's a great way to connect and continue to strengthen the connection between the high school and youth communities.
When: The camp will take place on FOUR consecutive days starting on Monday June 24th, and will continue on the 25th, 26th, and 27th. Camp will be from 3:00pm-6pm each day.
Where: Sunset High School (West Entrance/Athletic Entrance) across from the baseball and soccer fields.
Why: It's a great opportunity to mix learning with having fun. The camp focuses on teaching basketball fundamentals, healthy competition, and building community between the high school and youth communities.
